I love it when people throw out their plants; I’ve recently found plumeria and aloe plants that people were tossing!

Wow what a score! This is a thriving, mature ZZ plant. They grow *extremely* slowly. Amazing find.

That’s a very healthy curb find!!! I would take the plant outside and rinse it very very well. Maybe consider repotting it in case there are pests?

Zz. If you have pets keep them away from it . They leaves contain calcium oxalate crystals which can cause kidney issues

ZZ plant. Look up plant pests to be safe. Give it good light, water when the soil is dry.

I got my ZZ plant from the trash as well! Lol
Can’t believe someone just threw it away, there was nothing wrong with it. Yours looks healthy as well!

It looks pretty sad, they can droop like that, but it seems healthy and mature. I have 3 that are thriving with benign neglect. I water them as often as I pay rent and they love the darker corners where my cats can’t chew on them. Nice score

Do NOT let your pets near it (if you have any)
