Black soldier fly larvae. Good guys. Incredibly efficient composters!
They like it wet, so if you don’t want them there, add a lot more shredded cardboard and make it never has visible liquid in there.

They’re black soldier fly larvae. Will consume almost almost anything in a very short time. When there is enough of them in my tumbler I will give them any meat scraps, gone within a day. Chooks go nuts over them.
