Had a plant before covid that just died as soon as we got it, but last month at a B&M I saw this big one that was half dead and discounted to £3! And it’s currently got about 15 buds on it and finally the first flower has bloomed!! Overjoyed lol

Same!
Will attempt these next year – them
Flowers are lovely when they get going
Nothing special. I think it’s around 3 years now, so just spread it across the trellis and hoped for the best.
My favourite flower but I have never managed to get one to establish
I love mine, I’ve has so little success this year and yet this little Sainburys impulse buy has climbed all over the fence and is still flowering! I just wish the flowers lasted more than a day!
Will it come back next year?!
They are great. Mine is about five years old and has taken over the whole of one side of my garden. Loads of flowers, over months. And a few fruit but not the edible ones.
This autumn it is getting a big prune. I’m going to have to be brave but it’s out of control. Joyfully so!

Aren’t they beautiful!
Yeh I have always tried them in pots. I saw the most beautiful display on someone’s house 20+ years ago and it’s been a dream since. I think I may try again next year.
Congratulations! It will now take over your whole garden 😂
I planted one last autumn and it was doing really well until a few weeks ago after I gave it a big drink, it’s just shrivelled up.
