Any nex step advice would be great! I got some soil prepped for them, will be replanting in the near future to a better mix. What should I do about the roots on the side? Can I just ignore em for now. Should I plant the small bit of peyote that separates a bit further from the main cluster, or plant them joint?

Congrats on the purchases. After potting the loph be careful about slowly introducing light because many of those smaller heads look like they’ll be prone to sunburn initially. You could even drape a small piece of shade cloth or a paper towel over the pot to help filter light intensity.

Not sure what the soil you have is, but I typically add decomposed granite (chicken grit, plain granite -$11.99/20lb@ tractor supply) to my San Pedro soil at roughly 50/50 ratio for my loph soil. I have also found that submerging the entire bucket of loph soil in deep water while stirring floats out most of the bark and organic material that leads to rot. I let it dry out prior to using. Hope this is helpful!

Lophs are very easy to kill. Be careful.

Graph them to each other but make em easy to move so you don’t look like your propagating depending on where you are
