The new Split Rock Beer Garden in North Scituate opens Friday, Aug. 29, at 360 Gannett Road, the site where Jamie’s Restaurant stood for 50 years before a fire destroyed it in 2017.
The lot sat empty until the team behind Split Rock Beer Garden in Cohasset, Erin Herman and Ryan Hilton, moved to open a second location. Their aim is to replicate and expand on the success they’ve enjoyed in Cohasset since April 2023.
The new setup features outdoor seating, food trucks, a raw bar and a variety of drink options.
The Scituate Select Board approved the plan in March.
