These are my Kunekune/ feral boar cross. He looked to be Mangalista/Berkshire/ who knows what. I particularly like the one with spots. He seems to have the most laid back temperament. I’m hoping their snouts stay short. I will market them as pasture pigs!

My gosh they’re precious. Grow up fat, little babies!

Don’t count your piglets before they hatch.

I’d agree with the pasture pigs, Kunes in my experience are more for hobby farmers and folks who more or less want a “pet”

The meat isn’t bad per se, but even a basic market hog can be as good unfortunately.

I don’t particularly think they’re any better at any other pig at being a pasture pig, any and all hogs I’ve been around want a good forage. Others are far more particular about it than others.

Reading the other comments; yes handling them will make them less skiddish and more likely to be happy around humans, in particular you.

My sows/boar all let me love on them, they sit on my lap, I can ride them, and I can pick up fresh babies without concern of them being mad – because I spent tons of time with them.

    Good luck, solid looking pigs.
