North Wales Housing’s Annual Gardening Competition, now in its ninth year, celebrated residents’ outdoor creativity across categories including Best Garden, Best Communal Garden, and Best Container, Pot, Basket or Window Box.

A special award was also given for the Most Improved Garden.

This year, residents had the privilege of having their gardens judged by a guest judge, Ellen Firth.

Ms Firth is the owner of Ruthin-based Firth Flock Flowers and was crowned the 2024 Wales Young Entrepreneur of the Year.

She joined Iwan Evans, the NWH Resident Participation Co-ordinator, on a tour of the entries.
