Stanhopea is a genus of orchids native to Central and South America, known for their large, showy, and intensely fragrant flowers that bloom downwards from the bottom of the plant. These orchids require consistent moisture, bright indirect light, and should be grown in hanging baskets to allow the flower spikes to emerge and develop properly.

Tigrina is high on my wishlist. How old is yours and when did it start blooming? Working on 3D printing a basket for a 4″+ specimen right now.
It’s a pretty fabulous specimen.
Love that coloring! So gorgeous and funky!
All these stanhopea posts are making me so jealous. Someday, hopefully, mine will finally bloom.🤞🏼Yours is lovely! ❤️
It looks like a nest of baby birds!
In the best way they look like The Dark Crystal puppets. ♥️
SO JEALOUS. 😍😍😍😍😍
Nice! One of the coolest and most alien-looking flowers in the world. Finally ordered two and potted them up last weekend. Hope they look as great as yours someday.
My god that’s a good one
