The Amherst Garden Club will meet Sept. 4 for a program titled “Managing Storm Water with Rain Barrels” at the Amherst Historical Society building, 113 S. Lake St.
Patti Donnellan, district administrator at Lorain County Water Conservation District, will speak, according to a news release.
Social time is 6:30 p.m., presentation is at 7 followed by a short business meeting.
This event is open to the public, so anyone who is interested in gardening and plants is welcome to attend or join. Additional parking is at Quigley House across the street.
