I have a huge feral pig problem. They tear up the land and now I have these little HALF Kunekunes. Anyone have experience with traps? What works the best? What do I need to know?
Are there local resources that can help you? Is there a local conservation office or state agency or farm agency that can provide resources?

If you are near me I will come shoot some hogs for ya

Best trap is some .308
Call your local DCNR and ask them if they have anywhere you can dispose of the bodies.

Go get an AR-15 with a red dot scope and 1,000 rounds of ammo. Then go have a blast. Slay the vermin.

Hog traps are fairly simple and inexpensive to make. Check YouTube. Feral pigs are still pigs- they make good pork chops, sausage, bacon, etc.

You can get some guys to hunt them, and speaking personally, I do love hunting hogs, but they do not realistically put a dent in the population once they have a foothold, though it does make them warier. Trapping can be effective with sustained effort, but it’s not like a one-time thing.

I’ve heard great things about the pig brig.

I have a single cage with a trap door on a trip wire, and they seem to avoid it.
Smart little pests.
