Sadly, the day has come that I have to trim this beautiful girl. I’ve given her lots of love and attention and I really don’t want her to die. How do you recommend I cut her back?
Make it branch out. Cutting about half way. Root cuttings in water give as a gift.

I recommend making several plants from the top 1/2 of the plant.

I’d honestly cut even lower than halfway, I’d say 2/3. See how the stem is stretched out once the plant grows past the top of the window? Having it branch lower, at 2/3, would ensure more of the new growth stays full.
