Wow that’s sick. I’ve always wanted to grow some Darlingtonias, but everyone stresses about how they need to have their roots cooled and I simply don’t wanna invest or have to worry about that. I’ll stick to my bog plants for now!

That’s super cool, I’ve seen our native Sundews here in Washington State in a couple places but that’s seriously spectacular. Thanks for sharing!

Amazing habitat. They look so healthy! I’ve only ever seen them grow wild in Florence OR. I wish they grew in WA state.

Well that moss mound sure looks familiar, I have a few pictures of it myself. The plants look a lot better than when I was there though.

As someone who’s new to plants, what are the rules/ethics of taking a cutting from that? Is it a huge “no” or..

    That looks awesome though.

idk why this is shocking to me as a Californian— of course CA has carnivorous plants in the wild!

4th pic looks like 2 ducks at first glance 😂

You’re so lucky! I’m in Canada traveling in the country, just gazing at bogs wondering what plants live in there. It must be so exciting seeing this in person.

I’ve been to this spot before, great find! They do love their serpentine 😉

I would collapsed on my knees if I saw this in real life

Holy shit that’s an insane spot! I would ask where it is so I can visit but it’s defo in the interest of the plants to not share it online
