  2. What brilliant idea. I'd never even considered the nutrient loss through the base… well, you don't know until you know!!

  3. Brilliant! Can you make a video on how you make that tea and how you store it / use it? Thank you 🙏🏼

  4. i used comfrey to deal with skin irritations and allergic reactions to dirty guitar strings..works better than any topical..

  5. Great idea Huw. I have newly constructed compost bins and I’m going to transplant some of my comfrey over to the downhill side of them. I signed up for your new composting course and I can’t wait to be able to study it because you are correct in that buying compost is too expensive! I enjoy your videos immensely. TeresaSue

  6. Hi Huw. How late in the year can you cut your last crop of comfrey without damagi g the plant for next year?😊

  7. Isn't it illegal to make comfrey tea? I started harvesting it and then using the wilted leaves to mulch plants. My dad and grandparents always made tea and used it. It is pretty much unenforceable anyway.

  8. Unless you aerate the comfrey juice it doesn’t benefit the plants. It works well as a activator and can be cropped three or four times in a year.

  9. i take bee and other benificial plants, that bloom nicely and put them into the compost, after theyre dead ^^
