Hey! My monstera seems to be struggling, and I hope someone can help me. One leaf has developed brown spots, and another leaf seems to be slowly turning yellow/brown. One leaf has white spots on the underside and another leaf has white spots on the top. In addition, some leaves have started to curl. I haven’t changed anything in my care routine (watering once a week, spraying the leaves once a month, no plant food, no direct sunlight).
I have seen one mealybug, but that was the only one, and I have not seen any other insects on the monstera or other plants.
What can I do to make my monstera happy again? Any help is welcome!
Thrips. If you have access to insecticides in your country use them immediately. Had no success with neem oil for months, used a systemic insecticide and now I never worry about them anymore and just use the insecticide whenever they pop up again about once a year.

Thanks everyone! Wil start treating all my plants today :). Does anyone know where thrips can come from? Have had them before a year ago, but then none for a year…

currently dealing with the same problem, neem oil helps temporarily for me, and yesterday I introduced aggressive mites for a biological warfare – it worked for me a few years ago so that may be also a solution

If you can’t see any tiny webs or spider mites id throw some systemic in the soil and spray it down with insecticidal soap. A good soaking in potassium salts of fatty acids and spinosad works wonders for all manner of pests. Maybe throw some diatomaceous earth in the soil for good measure.
