The Arts and Flowers Garden Club met on Aug. 14. Seventeen members and one guest enjoyed a meeting in the park and also in a beautiful flower garden. The hostesses were Coleen Swartzentruber and Linda Epley. The conductress was Shari Gray. Rosie McGuire led the roll call and the members answered by answering the question “Do you grow roses?”. Upon the death of long time member Janet Goodwin, the club decided to donate to the Plainville Alumni in her memory. She supported many projects of the garden club and community events.
