  1. You missed something regarding firescaping and that is using raingardens and bioswales. They hydrate the garden, and even act as firebreaks in themselves. They provide many other benefits such as reducing irrigation costs, improving soil, etc.

  2. Long term gardener here and I enjoyed this and even learned something with the root size versus soil composition explanation. Never thought of it that way and of course it makes sense.

  3. I wish they invited someone else. I'm new to planting and really want to learn and i would have appreciated a proper answer to some of the questions instead of sarcasm.

  4. Around 1:40: technically a daisy has rays or ray florets, not petals. The yellow centers are made up of tiny individual flowers: disk florets.

  5. I’ve been replacing all my native milkweed with the pink and white swampweed. I’ve never heard that it causes butterflies to be deformed. 😢 I’ll have to review some other data to determine if I should pull it out.

  6. Seriously didn't mention breathing on the plants when talking to them & caring for them?
That's like humans going to an oxygen bar.

  7. Thank you so much. It's great to hear someone talk who has an affinity to plants. Loved the uncle's comments. Neither spends a lot of time talking and each word is important. You see the effect that plant experience has on a person.

  8. This guy is ridiculously awesome! And pretty hot…lol. He HELLA needs to do a Crime Pays Episode with Joey!😍🤘🤘🤘🤞🤞🤞🤞😁

  9. Been a master gardener for over 20 years here in the Midwest and have lived on the same 3 acre property for 46 years and I dig your vibe. Go to your local extension and get educated and make your garden your own. I just placed my first garden gnome a couple of weeks ago. It goes well with the gargoyles…

  10. Fun AND informative! His love of plants is so infectious 🪴. I agree with others that a video going into more depth about some of these beautiful landscape designs wound be cool.
