My baby amagris was completely fine yesterday night when I went to bed.. and today I woke up to this??
What is this discoloration on the leaves and why does this happen?
I have a few ctenanthes and never saw such a thing.
Info:
– I water when she needs it with distilled water
– she gets a few hours of morning light and then I help with grow lights

Uhm, I’m not expert but that type of discolouration plus the sappy residue that I can see on some of the leaves looks exactly like what my calathea looked like when it got spider mites.
Look under the leaves, are there any white dots? Scan it carefully with a flashlight, do you see little threads of webbing? If yes, that’s spidermites.
If it isn’t spidermites I’d still quarantine the plant away from others while you rule out the possibility of pests. I didn’t do this and lost 6 plants as a result.
Look a lot like spider mites.
