What are these magnificent & whimsical berries? SW Ohio in a meadow/wetland setting.

    Ampelopsis brevipedunculata, porcelainberry. They’re invasive

    You CAN eat them, but they don’t taste good.

    They are the bane of my existence, porcelain berry vine. I removed 12 large contractors bags worth of vines with roots as thick as my thumbs just this season on my parents 1/2 acre lot

    Those of us, fighting off porcelain berry do not consider them magnificent or whimsical. We consider them the enemy. Here in south central Tennessee they are on every fence, they climb up trees and choke them, they displaced my muscadines. they are hideous
