A museum gardener is set to share edible gardening tips at a food festival.
Jolyon Lockhart, a volunteer gardener at the Museum of East Dorset for three years, will give a talk on Saturday, September 20 at Willow Walk as part of the Wimborne Food Festival.
His talk, titled ‘From Plot to Plate’, will focus on growing edible plants at home.
The free talk will provide easy-to-follow advice for cultivating herbs, fruits and vegetables, even in small garden spaces.

“We are delighted to be taking part in this year’s Wimborne Food Festival.”
The festival, organised by Wimborne BID and Dacombes of Wimborne, will feature various culinary talks and cooking demonstrations from 11am to 4pm at Willow Walk.
Food lovers can also enjoy live music, tasting sessions, and various free events across East Street, Wimborne Square, Minster Green and Church Street.
Programmes for the Wimborne Food Festival will be available at local businesses and the East Dorset Information Centre at the Museum of East Dorset from early September.
