I reported it just this year. It's currently sitting in a 6.5" wide 3.5" deep pot. I would ideally like a 12" – 18" wide pot (its current spread is about 16") but then depth increases too much. 😭

Look for a bonsai pot, they tend to be shallow.

Wow, incredible! This guy would do amazing things if you could grow it outside in the ground

I don’t have a solution but she’s gorgeous!! Do you know anyone that does pottery or ceramics? You may be able to find a plastic basket at Dollar General’s or thrift store. You can usually find rectangular flower container I hope this helps.

Gorgeous Stapelia! It looks great the way it is in my opinion. These guys like to grow either in an upright form or in a sprawling habit. Yours obviously prefers to sprawl. They usually only require re-potting every 2-3yrs., and don’t mind being somewhat pot-bound. You could leave it the way it is, and let it continue to cascade over the sides of the pot, or find a suitable oblong/rectangular pot to re-pot it in. There are several options of pots available through Amazon or other online sellers. You could also consider putting it in a hanger, or doing a chop ‘n prop to keep it at a more compact shape. Whatever you deside to do with this beautiful plant, I wish you the best of luck.👍

Maybe you don’t need to re-pot. Maybe just get another pot or two, fill them with soil and place them next to your plant. Let those runners touch the soil, and hopefully they’ll root on their own and you can cut them and get more plants. Or just propagate them straight up.

Take cuttings and make new plants.

I don’t think you need to repot, mind you, cacti potting is all about root ball size. That said, if the root system is still less than the size of current pot, your good. If roots aren’t growing out the bottom drainage hole and the soil isn’t finger breaking hard, life is gooood in current pot 🙂

Time to get creative, or chop and prop.
