I forget the name! So sorry about that. I throw her in the shower and get her nice and totally soaked about every 2 weeks. It has drainage. They told me these instructions at the plant store. Shes really suffering. Many leaves have fallen off. Shes so sad. That was before I watered her today. She wasnt getting a lot of sun so I moved her and now she gets a LOT of sun. I know literally nothing about this please save her. I don’t know the type of soil they did that all for me at the plant store. I wish I had more information but anything would be great.

It’s either a ficus lyrata (fiddle leaf fig) or a Ficus Audrey…. I think. They are closely related and quite similar.
Moving her to a window was a great idea. They LOVE sun.
Stick your finger into the soil. Does it feel damp and cool? Don’t water. Does it feel dry? Water the tree really well.
Don’t worry to much, they sometimes take a while to adjust to their new home. Don’t repot it until it’s growing again.
She might not need a thorough soaking that often. I have a Fiddle Leaf fig a bit bigger than this, and it really only needs a soak once a month. Just check the moisture midway down before watering next time. If it doesn’t feel dry, hold off.
Ficus, looks too wet. Let it dry between waterings and make sure it’s got drainage, otherwise water sparingly.
It’s Ficus altissima. Chunky soil that’s 50% bark/perlite/pumice. Water when it’s dried out completely. Very bright light but direct Florida sun scorches mine, so as bright as you can give it without it being direct.
r/yahaha just got out of the bath
Ficus altissima
Ficus altissima curl like this when they’re growing in too low of light
Ficus Altissima, they aren’t as drought tolerant as the ficus fiddle leaf in my experience. Your leaves will come out curvy when it hasn’t received enough water during leaf development. I water mine throughly when it’s about 75%ish dry!
