4 months ago (autumn) I propagated 9 rosemary cuttings, 1 didn’t take, the rest of them have filled the pots with roots but the stems have not grown. Going into spring will they grow in these pots or should I repot them? I’m wanting to make little rosemary topiaries, is there a better variety for that purpose? The one I have was labelled ‘chefs choice’ or something like that.

someone tell me if i’m wrong but i believe rosemary like to grow out their roots before growing above the soil

I would re pot in something a tad bit bigger. The roots have outgrown the pot. They are healthy but need more space to get more stems. Love propagating rosemary it’s a very easy herb to grow and maintain.
