FORT HUACHUCA, Ariz. (KVOA) – Fort Huachuca has started slash pile burns in the lower area of Garden Canyon on Tuesday.
This process is expected to continue throughout the week, according to officials.
The U.S. Army Fort Huachuca announced that smoke will be visible for most of the day. However, it is anticipated to have minimal impact on Fort Huachuca or Sierra Vista.
Officials said no powerlines or structures are at risk during these burns.
