Garden Club learns about using herbs for lotion

The Buckingham-Dillwyn Garden Club members and guests enjoyed a program presented by Jan Wolfe during their meeting on Monday, Aug. 11. In the event, held at the Buckingham Extension Building in Buckingham Courthouse, Wolfe focused on using garden herbs to make oils, salves, lotions and creams. During the presentation she made a calendula salve using lavender. Each person attending the presentation received a sample to take with them.
