The Amisfield Gather-In is described as “a joyful harvest exhibition celebrating art, craft, poetry and produce”.
Opening on September 20, the Gather-In features a collection of work including sculpture, embroidery, ceramics, poetry, botanical art, floristry, willow weaving, wood engravings, screen prints, taxidermy and painting alongside a celebration of the garden’s produce.
Works from Chris Hall, Jonathan Gibbs, Fiona Dean, Tim Chalk, Jake Harvey, Naomi Bell, Fiona McDougall, Ruth Alder, Jessica Howarth, Barbara O’Neil, Lucy Dunce, Jessie Anne Matthew, Sandra Scholes, Helen Douglas and Katy Eccles (Imprint Casts) will be on display at Amisfield Walled Garden until September 28.
The 18th-century garden, on the outskirts of Haddington, has been restored from an overgrown wilderness into a vibrant and welcoming community garden.
Admission, from 10am to 4pm, is free of charge.
