Can anyone help me figure out what went wrong? I took this pup from the main plant 3 weeks ago. There were two roots that came up with it. I left it out to dry for 2 days then potted it. Now it looks like this. It sits in my front yard with dappled sunlight through a tree for most of the afternoon to evening (The same area as the main plant). There is a little bit of hope though, because recently i dug it up to inspect it and saw a few small root nubs developing. Do you think it can make a comeback? Also, what should I change about its care?

Put it in the shade, keep moist, they will look bad for a while that’s part of propagation.
