Was fortunate enough today and got to meet a really cool grower in my area. He stopped by and drop these Commiphora Kraeuseliana seeds. I’m excited to grow. Just would like any advice on germination. I can grow cactus from seed, but this is my first time with Caudex/ Commiphora.

Check out the Burseraceae sub, but I’ve grown tons of Commiphora from seed. Soak them for a few days in water & h202 to soften the hard seed coats. Germ can range from very very low to ~30% (50% if super fresh & lucky). Sow them shallowly in well drained mix, and keep temps above 80F, and humidity above 60%. They can take days to months to sprout- but generally within a week or two. Good luck!

I’ll check it out and also thank you for the advice and taking time out your day to help.
