He was bone…bone dry. I gave him some water and well…should I go ahead and repot him or leave him for now? Can he be saved?

I always repot immediately then let it get through the environmental change and repotting stress all at once. Unless the stem is rotten it will probably pull through just fine

I got my kiddo one just like that a bit more than a month ago. He saw it on several trips to the store and we scooped it when we saw a clearance sticker on it. We got her home and she stayed in the pot we got her in for about two weeks, and then I moved her in here. The top is pretty much all new growth since it got home. Shes in a west-facing window now and, I think, pretty happy. I don’t doubt yours will pull through just fine as well!

It’s a succulent – they prefer to be bone dry

Lowe’s clearance racks are my weakness

I’d much rather bring home a bone dry succulent than one that is dripping!
