What’s the turnaround time on this ingenious thing? And are certain trees better than others?

I think I finally found a use for all the tree of heaven plants that I can’t get to stop popping up in my yard each spring. They tend to grow in a tall, relatively straight shoot that would honestly be perfect for something like this.

I can’t fix the shed honey – hammer needs another year or two. Genius (chef’s kiss).

I feel like there is (or should be) a sub whose focus is inorganic stuff lost+found in organic stuff. Anyone have a recommendation?

Did you start it from seed? Or from nursery stock?
