Any tips on keeping them alive? I plan to plant them along my back fence 5 feet apart and 24 inches from fence. Won’t be able to get them in the ground for a few weeks but it was such a good deal I couldn’t pass them up.
Prep the soil for sure with maneur and some top ground soil, I have used the evergreen soil ( double diameter and extra inches deep ), and add plant tone. Water consistently for the first month ( i recommend installing a drip system). Also, dont put the rocks back on top of soil or around them, use wood mulch. Beware of bagworms too

Keep them watered. I’d just start digging if I were you. You could knock out one or two a day in an afternoon or morning.
