It might take some time but the bottom parts will eventually create pups.

That’s a shame. Just going to have to let nature take its course now. I would just keep treating them like you always have……lol , quick story. I always leave my tillandsia outside all summer and fall. Once I ran over an air plant that had fallen with my lawn mower. I saw it spit out the side all chopped up. Today that plant is thriving with a couple pups 😆
