Green Machine(aka Ice Cream) melon, also growing Minnesota Midget Melon. Had a late start where seeds didn’t sprout until early July. Then had aphids and cucumber beetles… now they’re finally starting to flower, both male and female. First fruit to form. Hoping it gets to ripen before frost hits. Low temps starting to get down to high 50’s-60’s… just maybe it can keep going… 🤞

Don’t give up!
I’m in the same boat with my cantaloupe. Hoping I can get one before frost/pickle worms get it.
Don’t say it! DON’T SAY IT!! Don’t look them in the eye, they can smell fear. Best of luck fellow gardner. 😁
Watch that end …looks like it may not have fully pollinated and be on the verge of some end rot.
