In the garden today and noticed some hornworm poop/damage. Found the culprit, right as a yellow jacket (??) did. I know it’s beneficial for wasps to lay eggs on them, and was curious to see what happened (although ultimately wasn’t going to let the hornworm feast for any longer—my chicken was anxiously awaiting this juicy treat).
Their battle was fascinating.
