Every time one of my larger leaf plants sprouts a new leaf (the center one), one of the side stems gets extremely droopy and then dies off. The leaf itself is in good shape but the stem starts buckling. What am I doing wrong?! How can I keep a plant that has more than two leaves at a time?? I’m going crazy!
Pot has drainage (about to repot into the larger one) and a solid amount of sunlight. Bottom watering when soil is dry.

How is the air circulation? The stems are weak, have fan lightly blow against them to encourage stronger stems. Or brush against it once in a while as you pass by.

Sometimes the weight of the leaf exceeds more than the stem can handle, you can add very thin stick as support for the stem
