New Calathea Parent!

Hey there folks! As the title suggests, I'm Blake and I'm a new Calathea parent! I heard they are difficult to care for so I wanted to come here and introduce myself and read through your comments and posts. I was absolutely mesmerized by the Calathea Network – the digitized looking cells in the leaves are just gorgeous! I had to name him Morpheus, because it reminds me of something that would exist in The Matrix.

I am in the process of deciding what kind of planter to 3D print for him – if you have suggestions let me know!

I currently have him near my window in indirect lighting, but will probably move him to my desk at work as it's a more controlled environment where I can keep a closer eye on things (and away from my kids haha).

Any suggestions for newbie looking to be a fantastic plant parent? Thanks in advance!
