Twenty-four raised garden beds aren’t enough! I’m obsessed with container gardening and experimenting with small gardening applications for apartments and renters.

I also grow in containers alongside my raised beds because you can never grow too much!
I’ve got a healthy looking tomato in a 15 gallon container. Grew to decent size. Zero tomatoes so far. Zero flowers. Never had this happen before in 40 years of gardening. Grew massively productive indeterminate tomato plants in this same container last couple of years. I added new compost before planting and a handful of 5-5-5 fertilizer. Any ideas?
I like having a few things in pots as backups, I have had times when it rained so much that it was drowning my in ground stuff. I was able to move the pots into sheltered areas to at least save them. But anything from insect pests to wildlife might get to my garden beds, so having things in pots means I can usually save something.
Gorgeous garden Scott
Great info! Great for citrus trees for sure! Can't wait until we finally get ours!
Thank you. Love your videos. How do you keep the weeds down in the between bed rows? I mulch every year but it only lasts a month or 2 . BTW you were right about the voles, one day they were just gone 🤷♀️
I am in 7b growing in OK. I planted tomatoes in April and the many storms we have had literally beat them to death. Mid June and I am starting over planting a few. The only original that survived was one I planted in a pot. Your gardens look wonderful!

Hi Scott, i know how you feel. I love to garden, I have 6 garden beds and about 22-5 gal. buckets and 9-3 gal. buckets. Wish I had more but my husband will kill me if I put another bucket in the yard 😂. God bless you and your garden.
