I got a whole big box of wildflower meadow seeds last year. I sprinkled the whole box over my lawn and not one came up!
And I really want a wildflower meadow in the place of my lawn!
What can I do?
I don't water the lawn, I'm in Scotland so it generally doesn't need it. It is east facing and gets a lot of morning light. The ground used to be farmland so I guess that's the type of soil.

Just guessing: maybe the birds got the seeds.
Wildflower meadows take years to develop. Look into Gardeners World episodes. They’ve done several on creating them.
