There was about a foot of gravel throughout backyard, been at this since this morning, feel like I havent made a dent into my problem. Im trying to push it all under the deck then use 4 inch edging to keep it in place under deck, since the whole backyard is on a 20 degree slope.

If you’re putting down screened topsoil then it should be good. If you’re using bags of the Scott’s topsoil in the bag then you’ll be adding more rocks to your rocks.
Even with all of the rocks removed there may be too much shade and competition from the trees to sustain grass.
My yard was like this too, it still is, but it was too.
Probably good on gravel removal but I’d probably still get decent aeration on the ground now that the gravel has been removed, overseed with something that’s meant to thrive in moderate shade and rolls some top soil on top.

I still see too many rocks for a lawn.
You will need more than that 1 bag of dirt. Get two more
