🌿 Sometimes I think I have a plan for the garden, but then nature shows me it often has the better ideas.
🌱 This morning, I actually just wanted to give a young Jabuticaba tree a bit of shade. And what did I discover? Nature had already been busy and basically did the work for me. Right next to it, as if by magic, little seedlings of an avocado, a cherimoya, and a loquat are peeking out of the earth.
🤔 I wonder how they might have gotten there. Was it birds that brought the seeds? Did I myself carelessly toss some pits into the garden? Or have the seeds just been slumbering in the earth for a long time, waiting for their perfect moment?
💚 It’s a wonderful feeling to watch these little miracles. It feels so much more right and alive than if I had decided myself where something should grow. A little reminder that nature often has the best plans, if we just let it be.
