In CA we sometimes see something called a pluerry, which is a plum/cherry hybrid. That would be my take, but if you provide a picture of the whole tree I can give a better idea.

According to picture this or plant parent it would be a Siberian crab apple tree. I’m sure some people call them by different names. They can be used for pies and you can eat them just not the seeds like with any apple.

Looks like a crabapple of some sort. Quince bushes are darker-leaved and quite spiny.
Agree with crabapple. They’re usually a bit more sour than store bought apples but yummy!
It would help if you picked a couple fruit and posted close – ups, maybe cutting one open
