Dobbies Garden Centres is running the Grow How sessions at its Beaconsfield store, focusing on lawn care and seasonal planting.

Nigel Lawton, plant buyer at Dobbies, said: “Autumn is a great time of year in the gardening calendar and our free-to-attend workshops at the Beaconsfield store showcase just how accessible and fun this hobby is.

“These sessions are designed for gardeners of all ages and abilities.”

The Mow and Grow workshops will take place on Wednesday, September 3, and Saturday, September 6, at 10.30am and 3.30pm.

Each session will last around 30 minutes and will include a live demonstration, followed by a Q&A with a member of Dobbies’ Green Team.

Attendees will learn top gardening tips and see how to plant a bulb lasagne, which promises blooms from late autumn through to spring next year.

The workshops are interactive and designed to be suitable for all ages and skill levels.

Those interested in attending can visit the Dobbies website to book a place at the Grow How sessions or the Little Seedlings Club for children.

Dobbies was founded in 1865 by James Dobbie and is headquartered near Edinburgh.

It shares its passion for gardens and plants through own brand and branded products, concession partners, and services.
