I have this plan that they gave me more than 3 months ago. They gave it to me in that pot. I know I have to change it because it has worn out but I was waiting for it to grow a little sooner. The thing is that it refuses to grow. Also excuse the dust it has because it rained and the earth is splattered on the plant. (I already see myself in the circlejerk for the pot 😂😅🤦🏻‍♂️) anyway… I need advice on how to make it grow because it refuses to do so.

There is nothing right about that picture. The soil is going to kill the roots, the pot is old and probably full of salts and who knows what kind of contamination. Damn there’s the seashells, get rid of them immediately. Nothing from the ocean.

Get some 3/8 or 1/4-in pumice. You might have to get it from eBay or farm supply might have it. Do not add sand. Wet the pumice to moisten. Add 10% Scott’s cactus mix. Stir so the mix is uniform. Use when slightly moist. Rewet as needed.

Use a plastic pot. If you don’t have one use a small size plastic drink cup from a fast food chain. Use scissors to cut tiny holes all around the bottom edge. Do not let water stand under the cup.

Repot in moist mix. Water only when the cup becomes light. Place in semi shade.
