I'll respond with more photos/names in comments of some more interesting stuff.

Aquarium hobby plants are too overlooked as terrarium plants. I think most terrariums are built like 1:1 scale for animals, and the tiny ecosystem style is pretty niche too, though. A lot of these plants are fragile, and not ideal for a lot of builds.

Other than the first photo, which is a little diamond shaped terrarium with a loose-fitting saucer lid and gets decent venting… most of the rest of these are really humid. A lot of what I'm trying are aquarium trimmings grown emmersed. I have tons of prop bins and little jars around which is awesome for experimenting.

1: Newish container for testing compatibility in a more vented terrarium/arid atmosphere. I just keep putting a little bit of everything in here and if it dies, it's replaced with a small piece of something else. I'll try to include other photos with the most interesting stuff. Some of it is fairly established, some is newly placed. I got the terrarium for free with a very neglected Jewel Orchid and a dying sprig of Red Wood Sorrel, it also had a little spiked aloe- since replanted.

2: Pinguicula Esseriana, Monte Carlo, Woodsy Thyme moss. Monte Carlo is perfect for terrarium carpets, it will reach, and grows in fairly different conditions.

  1. Hygrophilia Pinifitada, Juncus Repens, Monte Carlo, 2 types of moss, Selaginella Aurea.

4: Sagina Subulata, Platt's Black Fern, Anubias Coin Nana, Bucephelandra unknown, Pilea Glauca, various unknown mosses, Salvinia Minima floating.

5: Floaters on dirt: Water Lettuce, Salvinia Minima- with Creeping Micro Sword, African water Fern, unknown moss.

6: Bog bin: Various Anubias, Cryptocoryne, Lilly, floaters. These bins are how I transition plans to grow from the aquarium too.

7: Various Bucephelandra.

8: Moss and duckweed.

9-16: Moss

17: Too many to list

Would you post a photo of the overall set up? I also have a few dozen and I’m wanting to make more but out of room and curious to see how you house them all? 🤪
