I got some new springtails and the charcoal they were on seem to have some stowaway mycelium. Can anybody help ID? I have some moss from my driveway in it too… sometimes I get some inky caps in the yard but these look different .Does anybody know if this is a good guy in a close terrarium?

From everything I’ve picked up lurking on this sub, mushrooms = good soil.

  2. Mushrooms are typically a good sign, it means the cycle of life is going on in your system and the soil is healthy enough to facilitate a mycelium sheet to create mushrooms. They’ll provide food for the springtails and other things in there once they decay themselves if nothing more, and be added back into the soil.
