    Salvia guaranitica

Members of the mint family Lamiaceae native to South America! You can expect them to bloom well into fall in the US, even if you live in the north east

An absolutely gorgeous blue salvia. It’s a staple in our gardens and always a favorite of the hummingbirds. It comes in a variety of colors too. Red is very common, but I’ve also seen vibrant purple and pink.

Yep, Salvia. I buy these in spring and they get huge and just bloom and bloom. Full sun, you can almost ignore them. I do deadhead them though. Humming birds like them.
