Just got my first lithops yesterday. I repotted them in lava rocks and some cacti&succulent soil mix (tried 90% lava rocks and 10% soil but I was afraid of adding too much soil so I guess it’s probably under 10%).

I’ve grouped them by the length of the plants and their roots in the 2 pots. I think most of them have finished splitting, 2 still had the dried up leaves (last pic of them in the nursery pots and soil) and the others had some remains under the soil near the roots but I cleaned then off while repotting.

The roots felt kinda dry as you can see them in the pics. Should I water them and if yes, when and how much?
Also, what is the thing barely visible in the middle of the one on the left in the first pic?

You’re going to want them to dry/callous for at least a week after repotting to let any damage heal before any watering.
