Final weekly Homestyle Garden Photo Contest winner is in
Rochester Hills resident Patricia Thorner’s entry, ”Garden With Pond and Waterfall” takes the 12th and final slot in the Homestyle Garden Photo Contest 2025. She writes that this garden “blooms all season long” with something different every few weeks, including daffodils, geraniums, lilac bushes, bee balm, hydrangea and ostrich ferns. Thorner will receive a home or garden book and her entry will compete for the grand prize — a $200 gift certificate to English Gardens — through online voting by Homestyle readers. Voting will start at noon Sept. 2 and run until noon Sept. 9, with the winner announced Sept. 12 online and in the Homestyle section. To see rules, go to detroitnews.com/gardenphotos25.
