  1. Im so happy for you Tessie and Kenny, have a wonderful Sonshine filled day, thanks for sharing YAH bless you sister !

  2. Thank you for sharing All your Hard work and All your major projects you have done, I look forward to your video 's

  3. What soil do you get? Does it matter what type? I haven't had much luck the last couple years. I can't plant in the yard but I'm trying like a raised bed and containers. I'm in zone 7b in virginia

  4. You have lived a "simple life" the past couple of years in large part because you had to. I am looking foreward to watching what you keep of the previous years' practices, what changes you adopt because you can, and the "whys" for each.

  5. The perennials are beautiful and so nice to have. This year I added orange mint and lemon verbena to my garden. The mint is doing good, the verbena was struggling at first but seems to have come through. We also planted a honey crisp apple tree this year in my garden. I am really praying for my own house this year, so I donโ€™t want to be planting a lot of things on our current family land that I would have to move later. I love to give things like mint away to people like my barber or other friends and family. I collect free potting containers, then have like 8 going. Need to make more. My chocolate mint and spearmint spread so quickly, and Iโ€™m all about sharing my abundance. I give away a lot of raspberry shoots too

  6. The red color looks beautiful in you Tessie! Wow, thanks for taking us a long for the ride. I am so happy God Blessed you to get all thise projects upgraded. Now you can rest and cool iff a little bit. Does the water get hit in the Berkey from being out side? Spending time with family is important to God! You and Kenny are an inspiration!๐ŸŽ‰โค๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ™โœ๏ธ๐ŸŽ†๐ŸŽ‰๐Ÿ’–๐ŸŽˆโ˜บ๏ธ

  9. Hi, Tessie. So glad everything is done for now, and you can enjoy it all. That outdoor oven is an amazing addition to your homestead. โ˜บ

  10. Hello Tessie from our farm in New Hampshire. It seems like I have been following you since we built our house at the base of our family farm in 2016. We had to clear raw land/survey/ electric/ well/ septic/pour a foundation/ the whole lot. May sound like we did not have any of your issues, but not quite so. Our well collapsed and had to be redone with more casing. Turns out, the main bio system tube in our septic leach field got crushed when it was originally backfilled. What a mess to sort out over the past few years! We saved up and took on the cost ourselves. Our current excavator found the damage. So here we are, celebrating along with you and yours. We know the feeling of finally having the job done and we can move on. I think the term you may be talking about is HEARTH & HOME. That is where are are at the moment, finishing a few landscaping projects and sorting out our daily living routine. Yes we still farm. The boys are out haying today, but I am relegated to putting our house in order. That includes gardening/canning/freezing/dehydrating/cooking and making our lives comfortable and harmonious. I like the sound of your new pizza oven and a future wood stove. We burn wood. You and Chevy Man have come a long way. Now you can settle in and enjoy the journey ahead. ~ Diane

  11. Hi Tessie!! I just love your videos!! You are traching me a lot!! Your videos are so enjoyable!! Just real people living their life the best that they can!! Take care sweet girl โค๐Ÿ˜Š

  12. Hello I just wanted to let you know all your hard work has paid off and your place looks amazing God Bless you all

  13. Your garden looks amazing! I'm so happy for you that you were able to make the improvements to your property!

  14. Tessie, congratulations on all your home improvements. You and your husband did good! ๐ŸŽ‰ Enjoy and take care.๐Ÿ’—

  15. Well hello Miss tessie. You are lookin fine as frogs hair today and very happy. You guys have done wonderful things with your property. Have a blessed day.

  16. And you will enjoy the wood stove too. My hubby and I have a small modular and put in a wood stove after the last presidential election, knowing that inflation would come. It has been such a blessing with the utility bill during winter.

  17. We love card games at our house and it looks like you are having so much fun playing the one you are! What is the card game?

  18. Your yard, garden and porch areas are really nice. It makes me wanna do more to my own. I'm going to put in more rain collection containers for garden watering. Our home was built in '89 and I used to find myself wanting to get a new home as soon as possible. But now after Covid and high costs of everything (and we've lived here 5 years and fixed a lot of things over time), I feel like it's much smarter to stay in a paid for home with land than get into new debt. I feel like God has been trying to lead me towards a more secure down-sized life like yours. There is nothing wrong with living debt-free and enjoying life more instead of working ourselves to death for a high debt mortgage.
