Treating it for spider mites and I’m contemplating an attempt to separate the pups soon. Has anybody had much luck separating plants that have grown together in moss semi-hydro? I imagine a good amount of patience will be required 🤓

Moss in semi hydro is a bliss for alocasia but may not be so when getting babies separated from the mother plant 😂. Good luck with patience on this one . If I were you, I would have simply treated the mites and may be repotted the same in a bigger pot with some support for the stems .
Mites are really a pain !
Yet you won’t help me with mine on my post >:(

I did this recently! I carefully removed my frydek from all the moss, collected the 4 corms, and repotted into a larger glass jar with fresh mosh and leca. My corms are sprouting (slowly) and the mother plant only had one leaf wilt following the repot. Everything is going great.
Does the moss not stay too soggy? Does it work better then pon?
