Just popped up today as i was watering my fig tree. Might’ve come from some water i let sit in the base of the pot recently.

    *Leucocoprinus birnbaumii*, common in potting soil mixes. Nothing to worry about, it’s just feeding on decaying organic matter.

    It does mean the soil is healthy but also that it’s staying moist too long for most indoor plants. Let it dry completely before watering again, or you’ll start risking root rot.
